Job summary

AECOM Infrastructure and Environment UK Limited is seeking an engineer to deliver grid connection studies and power system analyses for UK and Ireland projects. You will work with utility providers and developers, applying tools like PowerFactory, PSCAD and PSS/E to support feasibility, siting and commissioning stages.

You will collaborate across disciplines, contribute to budgets and bids, and liaise with OEMs and clients to drive technical outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering grid connection studies for renewable or conventional power projects.
• Ability to interpret grid codes and ensure compliant designs.
• Comfort working across engineering disciplines and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design through power system studies and grid code analysis.
• Develop construction cost estimates and effort budgets.
• Contribute to bids and proposals for energy projects.
