AECOM is hiring a Senior / Principal Power Systems Engineer to join our Energy team in London. You will deliver grid connection services and power system studies across the UK and Ireland, working in a hybrid model with diverse, high-profile clients.

You'll apply UK Grid Code experience, PSCAD/PowerFactory tools, and strong communication to lead technical outcomes while collaborating with OEMs and project teams across multiple life cycles.

Qualifikationen

• Proven relevant professional experience in engineering design consultancy, OEM, or utility network planning.
• Understanding of transmission and distribution planning and customer connection processes for regulated and industrial networks.
• Proficiency with PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Python scripting.

Aufgaben

• Support the delivery of electrical design through power system studies.
• Undertake detailed power system/grid code compliance studies using tools such as PowerFactory, PSCAD and PSS/E.
• Liaise with OEMs and clients to drive technical outcomes.
• Support with bids/proposals.
