Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to support energy projects across the UK. You will lead civil infrastructure design for onshore wind, solar, hydro, grid, and BESS projects, from feasibility to construction supervision.

You will liaise with clients, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff while working within a flexible hybrid model across multiple UK offices.

Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary energy transition projects in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead verifier on feasibility studies and design reports.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and manage project work.
• Lead design of civil infrastructure including roads, drainage and external works.
