Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to drive growth of Power Conversion Solutions in the European data center market. You will engage hyperscalers, EPCs and end users to develop opportunities and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.

You will collaborate across engineering, tendering and product teams to win strategic projects, lead customer discussions, and shape bid strategies while advancing Hitachi Energy's long-term market position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in technical sales, business development or account management in power or energy tech.
• Strong understanding of power conversion technologies and electrical systems.
• Experience with data centers, critical power infrastructure or related markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build senior customer relationships and influence decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen managing high-value sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Power Conversion Solutions in the European data center market.
• Build and maintain relationships with data center developers, operators, consultants and end users.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted accounts and projects.
• Lead technical and commercial customer discussions throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to tailor solutions.
• Support tendering activities, proposals, contract negotiations and bids.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth.
• Deliver against sales and profitability targets while contributing to long-term strategy.
