Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to drive growth for Power Conversion Solutions within the European data center market. You will build relationships with hyperscalers, EPCs and end users, leading technical and commercial discussions throughout the sales cycle.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and data center infrastructure, with proven ability to influence senior decision makers in a global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record in technical sales or business development.
• Experience with data centers and critical power infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth of Power Conversion Solutions within the European data center market.
• Build and maintain relationships with data center developers, operators, consultants, EPC contractors and end users.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted accounts and strategic projects.
• Lead technical and commercial customer discussions throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
• Support tendering activities, contract negotiations and bid strategies.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver against sales, profitability and business growth targets while contributing to long-term strategy.
