Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain development tools and infrastructure in a hybrid on-site setting in West Littleton. You will work in a security-focused environment, ensure secure and efficient release processes, and collaborate with SCRUM teams to deliver robust platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery modes.
• Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines; container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience in automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Concourse CI).
• Scripting languages and source control experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure
• Understand the needs of project stakeholders

• Work with other engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Required Experience

• Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery mode
• Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
• Infrastructure as code e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
• Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines; Container platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker
• Experience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents
• Experience in scripting languages and source control
