Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Gloucester to lead development tool setup and secure, scalable infrastructure. The role is hybrid (min 3 days onsite) within a fast-moving cyber-focused team.

You will work across SCRUM teams to implement automation, CI/CD, IaC and container platforms, ensuring robust delivery pipelines and secure systems in a defence technology environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery
• Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Experience building/deploying large-scale applications
• CI/CD pipelines experience
• Container platforms and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, Helm, Docker)
• Automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents)
• Scripting languages and source control familiarity
