Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a hands-on Plant Supervisor to take ownership of our Horsham concrete plant operations. You will lead safe, efficient production of concrete and mortar while maintaining high site standards and customer service.

Reporting to the Area Operations team, you will supervise batching, coordinate with Order Office, drivers, and customers, and drive continuous improvement in plant performance and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in a concrete, aggregates or construction materials environment.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to lead operations, coordinate with offices and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe and effective batching plant operation and equipment.
• Coordinate with Order Office, drivers and customers to meet requirements.
• Ensure quality concrete/mortar production and site cleanliness.
• Maintain stock levels of raw materials and report defects promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement and environmental compliance.
