Pact Charity in Reading is seeking a Senior Placements Officer to join the Adoption team. You’ll provide the family finding service to match approved adopters with children and lead the Placement Officer team through induction and ongoing development.

This part-time, hybrid role requires experience in family finding, team leadership, and working in partnership with social services and agencies. Pro-rata salary £24,946–£30,489.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a family finding role and an understanding of the adopter/foster carer role.
• Experience leading/motivating a small team and delivering targets.
• Experience working in partnership with statutory/voluntary groups/partners/agencies.

• Assist potential adopters to find suitable matches and support at profile events.
• Coordinate with social workers and adopters, and maintain links with external agencies.
• Promote the adoption service and raise local awareness through networking with partners.
• Mentor direct reports and handle escalated queries.
