Job summary

West Sussex County Council is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst for the Children Young People and Learning Directorate. The role focuses on data management, analytics and reporting to support statutory and operational needs.

You will collect and analyse data from multiple sources, develop Power BI dashboards, and produce regular performance reports for staff and managers. Hybrid working with 2 days in the office is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in data management/analytics or equivalent experience.
• Experience undertaking complex data analysis contributing to strategic plans/policies.
• Experience advising senior staff and partner organisations on business impacts.
• Ability to engage with people at all levels and establish credibility across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process and analyse data to support statutory, strategic and operational duties.
• Gather information from service operations and multiple sources using clear communication.
• Cleanse, integrate and analyse data; present results with charts, graphs or infographics.
• Create, produce and maintain regular performance reports and Power BI dashboards.
