Job summary

Slough Borough Council is seeking an experienced Senior Data & Performance Analyst to provide strategic leadership for data analysis, performance management and business intelligence across Early Years, Best Start in Life, Family Hubs and the Family Information Service. You will lead the production of key analytical products and create dashboards using Power BI, SQL and Excel.

• Experience leading data, performance, and BI initiatives across multi-service areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and assurance of performance frameworks.
• Analyse complex datasets from multiple sources to provide authoritative insight.
• Produce analytical products like Childcare Sufficiency Assessment and dashboards in Power BI/Excel.
• Support forecasting and demand models to inform commissioning and investment decisions.
• Communicate insights to senior leaders and elected members to shape priorities.
