West Sussex County Council is recruiting a Senior Performance Analyst to support the Children’s Services Data and Performance Team. Based at County Hall, Chichester with hybrid working (2 days in the office), you will develop Power BI dashboards, run SQL-based reports, and provide insightful performance analysis to aid strategic and operational decision-making.
The role requires a degree or equivalent, strong data skills, and ability to present complex data clearly.
West Sussex County Council Children Young People and Learning Directorate provides universal and targeted support services to children across the county. This role will be based in the Children's Services Data and Performance Team, providing operational management information daily to staff and managers. The Children's Services Data and Performance Team uses a variety of SQL based reporting from a number of databases used by multiple services across the Directorate. In addition, we use Power BI as a visualisation tool to develop more intuitive reports that can support the strategic view as well as operational activity.
Salary: £39,862 to £42,839 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hours)
Contract Length: 2 x Fixed Term Contracts until March 2028
Location: Based at County Hall, Chichester (hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office)
