Job summary

M-KOPA is seeking a Senior People Partner to own the people agenda for our Product organisation and global functions at the centre of our operations. You will partner with product, design and digital lending leaders to shape talent strategy across markets.

You will drive org design, capability building and workforce planning, while scaling talent in product, design and analytics, across remote and international teams. A strong data-driven mindset and ER collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• HR business partnering experience with senior leaders in scaling tech/fintech or high-growth businesses, with portfolio ownership.
• Exposure to product, design, marketing or analytics teams, and an understanding of how they're built, motivated and retained.
• Breadth and adaptability: comfortable moving between very different teams in the same day.
• Strategic and operational range: capable of shaping long-term plans and delivering day-to-day work.
• Remote and global savvy: experience supporting cross-cultural teams across multiple regions.
• Analytical and advisory instinct: uses data, influence and judgement to advise leaders on trade-offs and risks.
• Confident handling employee relations across multiple jurisdictions with ER Centre support.

Responsibilities

• Advise product, design and digital lending leaders; align people strategy to delivery and team evolution.
• Own people agenda for fraud, workplaces, impact and corporate communications and marketing across markets.
• Switch register comfortably between leadership styles and build credibility with diverse teams.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to turn data into insight and action.
• Partner with ER Centre of Excellence on employee relations.
