Job summary

M-KOPA is seeking a Lead People Partner to own the people agenda for its Technology organisation as the company scales across Africa, Europe and the UK. You will partner with the CTO and leadership on org design, talent growth and workforce planning, owning engineering-focused people strategies and cross-functional alignment.

You will lead a Senior People Partner, drive data-informed decisions, and shape the coaching culture across technology domains while maintaining strong C-level

Qualifications

• Senior HR experience partnering with engineering or tech teams in scaling businesses.
• Proven org design depth with levelling, spans and layers experience.
• Ability to coach and raise the standard of HR business partners.
• Strong business acumen translating people priorities to leadership outcomes.
• Comfort operating with autonomy at C-level and managing ER judgements across jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting cross-cultural, remote and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead org design, workforce planning and transformation for a growing tech org.
• Own end-to-end people partnering for Engineering and Product, incl. senior teams.
• Coach and develop a direct report and establish partnering standards.
• Use people analytics to inform capability, attrition and cost decisions.
• Drive distributed team effectiveness across multiple regions.
• Handle complex employee relations with ER Centre of Excellence support.
