Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior People Advisor to lead a busy employee relations caseload and advise on workforce policies within the UHB+ structure and the wider People Directorate HR service.

The role focuses on compassionate, objective HR practice at pace, with opportunities to influence colleague experience, governance and workforce integration across the Trust. Flexible, hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR professional with strong employee relations experience.
• Ability to navigate complex policies and governance in NHS settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse employee relations caseload across UHB+ and the wider Trust.
• Advise on workforce policies and procedures to support staffing, engagement and retention.
• Work closely with UHB+ leadership to deliver timely, fair, and practical outcomes.
• Support governance, colleague experience and integration of Bank colleagues within the wider organisation.
