Job summary

Love Success in Central London is seeking an experienced Pensions Administrator with strong Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) experience to join a busy pensions team. Hybrid role with three days in the office.

You will manage day-to-day administration of DB and DC schemes, process transfers, retirements, pensioner payroll updates, AVCs, refunds, and member statements, while ensuring compliance with pensions legislation and HMRC guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong DB and DC scheme knowledge.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pensions legislation and HMRC guidance.
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day administration of DB and DC pension schemes (active, deferred and pensioner members).
• Processing transfers in/out (DC), retirements (normal, early, late, ill-health).
• Handling deaths in service/retirement and associated calculations.
• Managing pensioner payroll updates including bank changes and address updates.
• Processing AVCs, refunds, opt-outs and new joiners.
• Preparing retirement quotations and member benefit statements.
• Handling member queries via telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Supporting pension increase exercises and scheme events.
• Ensuring compliance with current pensions legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Maintaining accurate member records and performing data quality checks.
