Job summary

XPS Group in Leeds is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead post-transaction projects within the Risk Settlement team. You will work with trustees and insurers on buy-ins, buyouts and wind-ups, coordinating across multiple workstreams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality updates and client reports.

The role requires extensive DB pensions knowledge, strong organisation, and excellent communication skills. A hybrid, full-time position with opportunities for development and client-facing

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DB pensions with a strong technical background.
• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multi-workstream projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and project manage buy-in, buyout, and wind-up projects efficiently, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
• Stringent coordination across all workstreams to ensure deliverables are met.
• Liaise with and manage a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Trustees, Sponsors, and their advisory teams.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with insurers, independent trustees, and legal firms.
• Contribute to new business initiatives, including participation in tenders and presentations.
• Prepare and deliver clear and accurate updates and reports to clients
• Undertake other activities of a similar nature as required.
