XPS Group in Reading is seeking a Senior Consultant for the Risk Settlement post-transaction team. You will support post-transaction leads, overseeing schemes through true-up after buy-in, buyout, and wind-up, and coordinate across multiple workstreams with trustees, sponsors, and insurers.

• Extensive experience in DB pensions with a strong technical background.
• Knowledge of buy-in, buyout, and wind-up processes and their workstreams.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage task dependencies.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and project manage buy-in, buyout, and wind-up projects efficiently, delivering within timelines and budget.
• Coordinate across all workstreams to ensure deliverables are met.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Trustees and Sponsors.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers, trustees, and legal firms.
• Contribute to new business initiatives, including tenders and presentations.
• Prepare and deliver clear updates and reports to clients.
• May undertake other activities similar in nature when required.
