Job summary

WTW is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator in Leeds on a hybrid basis. You will handle advanced calculations and administration of complex pension schemes (DB/DC), mentoring juniors and ensuring high-quality outputs.

You will support a busy portfolio, using bulk processing, automated calculations, and manual methods as required, while maintaining accuracy and service levels across client work.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational pension administration (DB/DC).
• Knowledge of Pension Legislation/Regulations and applying changes.
• Experience with DB manual calculations for various processes.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow procedural docs.
• Ability to manage high volumes while staying accurate.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience coaching and supporting junior colleagues.
• Experience in a hybrid/multi-site team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage complex pensions calculations across retirement, transfers and death cases.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior colleagues to ensure quality output.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues, non-standard cases, and member complaints.
• Apply pension legislation and WTW guidance to day-to-day work.
• Assist Team Leader to meet SLAs and coordinate workload.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to support development.
• Identify process improvements to enhance client service.
• Participate in complex or project-based work as needed.
