Job summary

Aptia Group is seeking an experienced Pensions Administrator to support clients and scheme members with complex queries and calculations. You will peer review and coach junior staff, advise on procedural and legislative changes, and help manage client relationships through budgeting and process improvements.

This role is hybrid, based from our UK offices, and involves working with pension schemes to ensure accurate calculations and compliant administration while contributing to service

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with clients and trustees.
• Ability to perform complex pension calculations and peer review other calculations.
• In-depth knowledge of UK pensions legislation and member calculation processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients and scheme members on complex queries via letter, email or phone.
• Understand scheme details and ensure activities comply with scheme rules.
• Perform complex pensions calculations and enter data for various events.
• Provide checking support and use MI reporting to monitor progress.
• Handle errors, omissions and complaints per procedures and timelines.
• Monitor project income and ensure delivery on plan and budget.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue within the client group.
• Stay updated on technical developments and legislative changes.
