Job summary

Isio is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our growing Pensions Administration team. You will deliver high-quality service to Defined Benefit clients and members, handling complex calculations and data processing across a range of events.

Based in Scotland with a hybrid workstyle, you will also mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with risk, compliance and client teams to ensure accurate, timely service and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform complex pension calculations and peer review calculations to high accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of member calculation processes, Defined Benefit scheme knowledge and governing legislation.
• Excellent member service focus with the ability to manage relationships and expectations.
• Good communication skills with clients, members and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great service to a portfolio of Defined Benefit pension scheme clients and their members.
• Perform complex pensions calculations and data entry across various events.
• Communicate with clients and members on complex queries, including meetings with trustees.
• Peer review and check work for accuracy and compliance with scheme rules and legislation.
• Keep up to date with pensions regulations and developments; mentor and coach less experienced colleagues.
• Update the Team Manager on concerns and propose solutions; manage small projects as needed.
• Work with risk and compliance to handle errors and complaints within timescales.
• Provide empathetic, timely contact with members via phone, email, post and web.
• Build strong relationships through professional collaboration across teams.
