Job summary

Barnett Waddingham is seeking a Senior Pension Systems Analyst in the United Kingdom with a focus on onboarding new schemes to the Pension Administration business. The role is permanent and can be based in any office with hybrid working arrangements.

The Senior Analyst may deputise for the Team Leader as needed. You will provide advanced frontline support for pension systems, demonstrate deep expertise in pension administration, and configure systems to automate standard and complex benefit

Qualifications

• A minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Mathematics and English.
• An in-depth knowledge and high level of experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, and Hybrid arrangements)
• Demonstrate an awareness of UK pension legislation, current/historic issues, and their application to administration, inclusive of PPF specific requirements
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and in particular, Excel) to an advanced level

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced level day-to-day frontline support of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of simple, standard, and complex benefit structures
• Configures the pension systems to provide automation for schemes with standard and complex benefit structures
• Provides Pension Systems and advice, as a Subject Matter Expert, to standard and complex project work
• Produces reports and provides analysis of standard and complex pension system data
• Prepares simple, standard, and complex bulk data to enable, and perform, its upload to the pension systems
