Job summary

Barnett Waddingham in Leeds is seeking a Pension Systems Analyst to drive onboarding of new schemes into the Pension Administration business. This permanent role offers hybrid working from our Leeds office.

You will provide intermediate frontline support for pension systems, and develop an understanding of standard and complex benefit structures, including automation of simple schemes. Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English, knowledge of pension and payroll administration, and

Qualifications

• At least GCSE Grade 5/C in Mathematics
• Knowledge and experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, and Hybrid arrangements)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

The primary focus for a Pension Systems Analyst will be to focus to Onboarding of new schemes to the Pension Administration business. This is a permanent role that can be based in any of our offices working on a hybrid basis.

A snapshot of your day:

• Provides intermediate level day-to-day frontline support of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of simple and standard benefit structures; demonstrates an intermediate understanding of complex benefit structures
• Configures the pension systems to provide automation for schemes with simple and standard benefit structures; participates in the same for schemes with a complex benefit structure
• Provides support for standard project work; participates in the same for complex project work
• Produces reports and provides analysis of standard pension system data; participates in the same for complex pension system data

We would like

• A minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Mathematics and English
• A knowledge and experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, and Hybrid arrangements)
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and in particular, Excel) to an intermediate level
