Job summary

Howden in Leeds is recruiting a Pension Systems Analyst to focus on onboarding new schemes to the Pension Administration business. This permanent role offers hybrid working across offices.

You will provide frontline support for pension systems, develop an intermediate understanding of the systems, and configure automation for simple and standard benefit structures.

Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English, knowledge of pension and payroll administration, and intermediate Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE grade 5/ C in Maths and English.
• Knowledge and experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, and Hybrid arrangements).
• Intermediate Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day frontline support of the pension systems.
• Onboard new schemes to the Pension Administration business.
• Configure pension systems to provide automation for simple and standard benefit structures; participate for complex ones.
• Provide support for standard project work and participate in complex projects.
• Produce reports and analyze standard pension system data; participate in analyses for complex data.

The primary focus for a Pension Systems Analyst will be to focus to Onboarding of new schemes to the Pension Administration business. This is a permanent role that can be based in any of our offices working on a hybrid basis.

• Provides intermediate level day-to-day frontline support of the pension systems

• Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of the pension systems

• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of simple and standard benefit structures; demonstrates an intermediate understanding of complex benefit structures

• Configures the pension systems to provide automation for schemes with simple and standard benefit structures; participates in the same for schemes with a complex benefit structure

• Provides support for standard project work; participates in the same for complex project work

• Produces reports and provides analysis of standard pension system data; participates in the same for complex pension system data

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• A minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Mathematics and English
