Job summary

LGBT Great is seeking a Senior Pension Systems Analyst in Leeds with hybrid working options. The role focuses on onboarding new schemes to Pension Administration, with occasional deputising for the Team Leader. It’s a permanent post with flexible office-based hybrid arrangements.

You’ll provide advanced frontline support, demonstrate expertise in pension systems, and contribute to complex project work. Strong Excel and UK pension knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Mathematics and English at grade 5/C or higher is required.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, Hybrid arrangements).
• Awareness of UK pension legislation and related administration issues, including PPF requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for pension systems on a day-to-day basis.
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of pension systems and benefit structures.
• Configure pension systems to automate standard and complex schemes.
• Act as SME on pension systems for projects and data analysis.
• Produce reports and analyse pension system data.

The primary focus for a Pension Systems Analyst will be to focus to Onboarding of new schemes to the Pension Administration business. It is understood that, from time to time, the Senior Pension Systems Analyst may be required to deputise for the Team Leader. This is a permanent role that can be based in any of our offices working on a hybrid basis.

A snapshot of your day:

• Provides advanced level day-to-day frontline support of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the pension systems
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of simple, standard, and complex benefit structures
• Configures the pension systems to provide automation for schemes with standard and complex benefit structures
• Provides Pension Systems and advice, as a Subject Matter Expert, to standard and complex project work
• Produces reports and provides analysis of standard and complex pension system data
• Prepares simple, standard, and complex bulk data to enable, and perform, its upload to the pension systems

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• A minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Mathematics and English
• An in-depth knowledge and high level of experience of pension and payroll administration (DB/DC/CARE/Cash balance, and Hybrid arrangements)
• Demonstrate an awareness of UK pension legislation, current/historic issues, and their application to administration, inclusive of PPF specific requirements
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and in particular, Excel) to an advanced level
