Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital seeks a Respiratory Care professional to provide specialized care for neonatal and pediatric patients. You will assess, plan, and administer therapies, operate advanced equipment, and work closely with the care team to mentor less-experienced staff.

Minimum qualifications include a CoARC-accredited program, NBRC RRT, Florida license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS and NICU certifications are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program completion.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in neonatal/pediatric critical care.
• Current Florida Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current BLS; ACLS and PALS certifications; NRP and STABLE where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients with minimal supervision.
• Assess patients and develop/implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and operate advanced equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and support development of less-experienced staff.
