Job summary

The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital invites applications for a Palliative Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Advanced Practice team. The APRN will work in collaboration with the Palliative Care Team and other hospital services to provide family-centered care, consultation in symptom management, and supportive care.

Candidates must hold PNP-AC or PA certification with Florida licensure, a master's or doctoral degree in Pediatric Acute Care, and active BLS and PALS.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification and licensure in the state of Florida.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Pediatric Acute Care Nursing (PNP-AC) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) from an accredited program.
• Must have licensed APP experience in a pediatric Palliative Care and Pain Management environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation in Palliative Care, symptom management and supportive care in collaboration with the Palliative Care physician.
• Collaborate with the Palliative Care Team and other hospital services to deliver family-centered care.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development; participate in research initiatives.
