Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Temporary Payroll & Pensions Officer to join their busy team on an ongoing temporary basis. Working in central London with hybrid working available for this post.

Duties include:

  1. Prepare and process high-volume monthly payroll and pensions within a team.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries.
  3. Handle payroll queries and discrepancies.
  4. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  5. Pensions Administration: Manage pension contributions and submissions. Administer auto-enrolment and other pension schemes. Handle pension queries and provide information to employees. Ensure compliance with pension regulations and legislation.
  6. Reporting and compliance: Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with GDPR. Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
  7. General Administration: Maintain accurate employee records. Support other HR functions as needed. Attend relevant training to stay updated on legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Knowledge of payroll and pension systems.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
