Aon is hiring! We are seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our team. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work both virtually and from the office (location is flexible).

What the day will look like

Reporting to the Team Manager, you will take ownership of the retention and development of a book of business. You will build client relationships, attend client meetings, provide expert advice to meet client product and service needs, and stay up-to-date with industry trends, monitor market developments, and identify revenue opportunities for existing clients.

You will also:

  • Create business development plans and identify strategies to meet overall business targets.
  • Ensure compliance with the Financial Services Market Act 2000 and Aon’s criteria in relation to regulated business within your specialist area.
  • Report risks to the Operations or Compliance Director to ensure proper risk management.
  • Ensure adherence to Aon UK T&C processes and procedures, providing evidence of compliance where necessary.
  • Address potential E&O cases according to procedures to minimize exposure.
  • Provide updates for financial statements for regulatory, accounting, and other purposes.
  • Manage revenue recognition and client billing.
  • Develop content for client communications in coordination with relevant parties.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of statutory obligations and FCA guidelines.
