Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Staff Engineer – Payments in the United Kingdom. You’ll be the first technical lead in a Payments squad, shaping architecture and engineering standards for a rapidly scaling platform.

This hands-on leadership role involves delivering robust payment infrastructure, improving payment accuracy and processing efficiency, and coaching engineers while collaborating with product and leadership to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a squad's delivery and establishing engineering standards.
• Hands-on engineering background with design docs and architecture decisions.
• Ability to coach engineers and manage cross-team dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Payments squad's delivery outcomes and engineering standards.
• Write technical specs, review ARRs and PRs, and solve complex problems directly through code.
• Define the technical and architectural strategy for the payments domain.
