Job summary

Worldpay (UK) Limited seeks an experienced engineering leader to plan and manage application development and client delivery for a portfolio of payments platforms. You will lead teams through design, development, testing, and production readiness in a high-availability, regulated environment.

You will mentor managers and engineers, coordinate with security, risk and audit teams, and drive delivery excellence, resilience and compliant operational governance across global payments services.

Qualifications

• Nine+ years in software development, delivery or platform engineering.
• Seven+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience delivering complex, high-availability payments/fintech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manages application development and client delivery activities for a portfolio.
• Lead teams responsible for design, development, testing, and support of software product applications.
• Oversee full SDLC, release readiness, audit obligations and production support.
• Coordinate with compliance, security, risk and audit teams to meet regulatory requirements.
• Mentor managers, supervisors, engineers and analysts; allocate resources.
• Drive delivery throughput, quality and resilience; manage escalations.
