Job summary

Elevate is supporting a leading construction and procurement business to appoint a Senior Paralegal on an interim basis for a 3 month FTC. The role sits within the legal team and focuses on construction, procurement and commercial contracts.

The successful candidate will review and draft contracts, manage amendments, support tender processes, identify risks, and maintain contract records while providing day-to-day support to procurement, commercial and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Paralegal or experienced Paralegal.
• Background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, procurement or commercial contracts.
• Strong commercial contracts experience.
• Understanding of construction contracts and/or procurement processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support construction and commercial contract matters.
• Review, draft and manage contracts, amendments and related documentation.
• Support procurement activity, including tender and supplier documentation.
• Assist with contract reviews, risk identification and escalation.
• Manage contractual records, obligations and key dates.
• Provide day-to-day support to procurement, commercial and operational teams.
• Conduct legal and contractual research as required.
