AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Energy Solutions team in the UK. The role focuses on P&C design for transmission and distribution.

You will lead FEED and Detailed Design, interface with clients, and guide multidisciplinary teams across offices and client sites. We offer flexible and hybrid working, career development, and opportunities for chartership within a global engineering services firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 BEng in Electrical Engineering or Energy Systems.
• Experience in P&C design; up to 400kV preferred.
• Strong client-facing and leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to spend at least 3 days a week in office/site.
• Aiming for professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on FEED and Detailed Design for National Grid, SSEN-Transmission, or other Transmission & Distribution clients.
• Manage P&C design packages with QA and governance.
• Interface with clients to understand needs and translate into workstreams.
• Attend design reviews and hazard reviews; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support tendering, technical queries, and site visits.
