Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Overhead Line Engineer to lead complex transmission and distribution line design projects across global locations. You will manage design work, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality reports and drawings to client standards.

The role requires extensive OHL experience, proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, and PLS-Pole, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive OHL design experience with scheme and project management.
• Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead design work for transmission and distribution lines and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare, review, and manage specifications, schedules, and BOQs.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time.
• Produce technical reports, drawings, and design documentation.
