Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager within the Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team to lead strategic initiatives that optimize capacity and network performance. The role blends strategy with hands-on execution across RME, non-RME, and Ops stakeholders.

You will own capacity models, drive analytics, and deliver standard work practices to improve key metrics. Expect interactions with senior leadership and a focus on delivering measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives with process improvements and automation.
• Experience within distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar.
• PMP certification or Lean/Six Sigma methodology experience including process mapping and redesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs, projects, and initiatives impacting operations; develop solutions with RME, non-RME, and Ops stakeholders.
• Partner with RME, non-RME, and Ops stakeholders to lead root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Own and optimize capacity models including architecture, methodology, and output validation to maximize capacity utilization.
• Leverage advanced analytics for data-driven decision-making; monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain program artifacts including BRDs, initiative plans, and white papers.
• Develop and implement standard work practices that improve key business metrics and translate lessons into standards across the network.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership; influence decision-making with data-backed recommendations.
• Remove operational barriers through hands-on problem-solving to deliver immediate results.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
