Fairhive Homes Limited is seeking an Operations Business Manager – Repairs to lead the delivery of our responsive repairs service. You will oversee a team, manage in-house operatives and external contractors, and ensure high standards with value for money for residents.

You will monitor budgets, service performance and KPIs, and use data and feedback to identify improvements. You’ll also oversee inspections and compliance while resolving complaints and contributing to after-hours rota management.

Qualifications

• Degree or substantial relevant technical experience.
• HND in Building Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong commercial, operational and financial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and motivate the repairs team and manage in-house trade operatives and external contractors.
• Oversee budgets, service performance and KPIs; use data and resident feedback to drive improvements.
• Ensure pre and post inspections and other technical inspections meet required standards; maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, statutory and Health & Safety responsibilities.
• Resolve residents’ complaints and drive practical improvements to the repairs service.
• Participate in managing the out-of-hours service on a rota basis.
