Job summary

Compass Associates have partnered with a family-run care provider to appoint an experienced Operations Director to join their senior leadership team. The role covers Surrey and the South East, with responsibility for operational performance, quality and commercial delivery across multiple services.

The successful candidate will lead a senior operational team, drive CQC compliance and quality governance, and collaborate with the COO and Board on strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Senior operational leader with health or social care experience.
• Experience at Regional Director/Operations Director level or equivalent.
• Experience overseeing multiple care services and senior teams.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality governance.
• Experience managing operational budgets and revenue.
• Excellent communication with boards and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for operational performance across a multi-site care portfolio.
• Lead and develop a senior operational team across multiple services.
• Ensure safe, person-centred care is consistently delivered.
• Drive CQC compliance, quality governance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, revenue, EBITDA and commercial performance.
• Build relationships with Local Authorities, ICBs, commissioners and external partners.
• Support mobilisation and integration of new services and acquisitions.
• Implement and embed company-wide compliance, auditing and systems.
