Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to lead energy efficiency and sustainability programmes across the Stevenage campus.

This on-site role reports to the Energy Programme Manager, coordinating energy reduction initiatives and ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with client objectives and sustainability targets. The role acts as the on-site technical representative for energy activities, overseeing contractors, managing permit-to-work, coordinating project

Responsibilities

• Coordinate energy improvement initiatives and provide technical support to onsite project teams.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover of energy improvement projects.
• Fault finding, diagnosis, testing, and optimisation of HVAC and building services to save energy.
• Inspect, test and replace components on HVAC plant to maintain safe, reliable operation.
• Analyse plant performance, identify faults and implement corrective actions to improve energy efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and performance reports for energy and carbon reduction activities.
• Monitor site energy consumption and support ongoing performance improvement.
