Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an energy and sustainability specialist to manage and advance initiatives on a Life Sciences Campus within a CBRE Global Enterprise client account. You will develop strategies, ensure global standards, and lead projects to reduce energy use while coordinating budgets and reporting.

You will analyze energy data, model savings, and present findings to staff at all levels. The role emphasizes advanced energy concepts and building systems knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong energy conservation and energy management background.
• PE and/or CEM highly desired; sustainability certifications preferred.
• Experience with energy reporting, dashboards and analytics tools.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop energy management and sustainability strategy for client portfolio.
• Apply global energy standards across properties and track savings targets.
• Benchmark energy and water use; identify opportunities and plan actions.
• Lead energy capital projects and building upgrades to reduce consumption.
• Budget utilities and manage data, forecasts and billing processes.
• Report metrics on cost savings, CO2, water; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Support water saving and recycling programs; assist business development.
