Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is hiring a Building Energy and Management Systems Engineer in London to ensure reliable performance of BMS and energy-related systems. The role covers monitoring, fault resolution, trend analysis and compliance, supporting NetZero initiatives and site sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate has formal electrical/mechanical/BMS training and strong experience with trends, alarms, and data platforms, plus IT/networking skills.

Qualifications

• Formal training in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, chiller or BMS control systems.
• Experience with building automation systems and alarms interpretation.
• Knowledge of energy-management principles and low-carbon operation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and optimise BEMS systems and environmental conditions.
• Identify and resolve BMS alarms or escalate as needed.
• Identify energy-reduction opportunities and improve operating efficiency.
• Produce reliability reports and trend analysis for equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrations on BMS-connected plant.
• Collaborate with client sustainability teams to improve energy performance.
