AECOM is seeking a Senior OHL Engineer to lead overhead line design for UK transmission projects, including National Grid alliances. You will apply PLS-CADD modelling, conduct sag-tension and structural analyses, and support proposals and client engagement while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (Electrical/Power).
• CEng Chartered Engineer with a recognized electrical institution (IET).
• Experience delivering UK transmission projects for grid operators (National Grid, SSE, SPT).
• Overhead line engineering experience up to 400 kV.

Responsabilités

• Provide project technical support and lead design of transmission projects up to 400 kV.
• Deliver overhead line design on complex multi-discipline projects.
• Support feasibility studies, proposals, and client presentations.
• Conduct design calculations, routing, and compliance with standards.
• Create and check engineering deliverables and drawings.
• Contribute to public consultations and project implementation.
