Job summary

AECOM Limited is seeking a Senior OHL Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution team in the UK. You will lead design work on overhead lines up to 400kV, engage with clients, and support feasibility, planning, and delivery across major UK projects.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, growth opportunities through AECOM University, and involvement in high-profile frameworks like the National Grid Great Grid Partnership.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Professionally qualified CEng Chartered Engineer with a recognised electrical engineering institution (e.g. the IET).
• Experience delivering UK transmission projects (National Grid, SSE, SPT) and overhead line engineering up to 400kV.

Responsibilities

• Provide project technical support and design of transmission projects.
• Work on overhead transmission lines up to 400kV.
• Deliver LOD design on complex multi-discipline projects.
• Involve in large programmes of work like GGP projects.
