Job summary

SSE Renewables seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of a major offshore wind farm at Montrose Harbour. You will oversee ~50 staff and contractor teams, driving safety, availability and production in line with the Management Service Agreement.

This high-profile role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across a Joint Venture, ensuring long-term asset value and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in offshore wind or similarly regulated industrial environments.
• Strong track record delivering safety performance and operational excellence.
• Experience owning budgets, contracts and business-case delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable and efficient operation of a major offshore wind asset.
• Oversee ~50 staff and contractor teams, ensuring safety and performance targets are met.
• Deliver operational, contractual and commercial commitments while managing governance.
• Collaborate with Joint Venture partners and SSE Renewables leadership to maximise asset value.
