SSE Renewables seeks an Offshore Operational Engineering & Execution Manager to lead governance, asset integrity and maintenance strategy across its offshore wind portfolio, delivering major intervention programmes. You’ll spend about 50% of your time at Glasgow, Perth, Montrose, Wick or other SSE sites.

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Maintenance, you will unite multi‑disciplinary engineering teams, manage risk and cost, and ensure safe, reliable performance through strategic oversight

Formación

• Significant leadership experience in offshore wind or similar asset-intensive environment.
• Strong knowledge of offshore wind operations, maintenance, and asset integrity management.
• Experience in governance, risk management and decision-making.
• Experience delivering end-to-end offshore works and capital projects.
• Experience managing budgets and supplier relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering governance, asset integrity and maintenance strategies across SSE's offshore wind portfolio.
• Oversee major intervention programmes and maintenance projects through a team of engineers and project managers.
• Act as OT System Owner for offshore assets, ensuring cyber-security and regulatory compliance.
• Foster safety culture and capability development across a dispersed engineering team.
• Manage budgets and stakeholder relationships to influence investment and engineering strategy.
