Job summary

SSE Renewables is seeking an Offshore Operational Engineering & Execution Manager to lead governance, asset integrity and major intervention programmes across a UK offshore wind portfolio. Qualifications

• Extensive engineering and project leadership experience in offshore wind or similar asset-heavy environments.
• Strong knowledge of offshore wind operations, maintenance delivery and asset integrity.
• Expertise in governance, risk management and safety.
• Experience delivering end-to-end offshore works and major capital interventions.
• Experience managing large budgets and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering governance, technical assurance and asset integrity across offshore wind portfolio.
• Develop and optimise maintenance and intervention strategies using RCA, reliability-centred maintenance and life extension.
• Oversee delivery of major intervention programmes through Engineering Managers and Technical Project Managers.
• Act as Operational Technology System Owner for offshore assets, ensuring secure SCADA and cyber-security systems.
• Lead a geographically dispersed engineering team, fostering safety culture and continuous improvement.
