Job summary

SSE Renewables, based in the UK, is recruiting an Offshore Operational Engineering & Execution Manager to lead governance, asset integrity and major offshore maintenance programmes. You will drive safety, reliability and efficiency across a multi‑technology portfolio and report to the Head of Operations & Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering and project leadership experience in offshore wind or asset‑intensive environments.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end offshore maintenance or capital intervention programmes.
• Strong governance, risk management and stakeholder influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering governance, asset integrity management and maintenance strategy across offshore wind assets.
• Oversee major intervention programmes, including subsea work and component exchanges.
• Act as owner for OT systems safety, cyber security and operational resilience.
• Develop and lead a dispersed engineering team with emphasis on safety culture and capability development.
• Manage budgets, supplier relationships and investment cases influencing strategy.
