Job summary

Ocean Winds is seeking a Technical Asset Manager to lead technical oversight of the UK offshore wind portfolio from its Edinburgh base. You will act as the technical representative for assets, manage risk, and drive performance improvements across OEMs, O&M contractors, and suppliers.

You will coordinate expectations between Operations, Asset Integrity, Commercial Asset Management and Procurement to protect owner interests throughout the lifecycle and align with governance, HSE and budgets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in renewable energy or complex operational environments.
• Experience in asset management, O&M, engineering or technical management.
• Strong understanding of asset performance, reliability and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner/operator’s technical representative for offshore wind assets.
• Maintain oversight of asset condition, performance, reliability and technical risk.
• Monitor asset availability, production, losses and maintenance performance.
• Identify technical issues and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Support root-cause investigations into significant failures.
• Develop asset performance and lifecycle improvement plans.
• Provide strategic oversight of O&M activities across all assets.
• Coordinate and align diverse leads for integrated decision making.
• Drive governance, accountability and timely issue resolution.
• Oversee contracts, performance management and commercial optimization.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulatory requirements and HSE.
