Job summary

Equinor in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced O&M planning engineer to oversee safe and efficient maintenance campaigns across Greater Wash assets. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams, manage contractor deliveries and ensure adherence to safety, quality and governance standards.

You have strong CMMS/ SAP experience, offshore wind exposure, and a proactive approach to risk assessment, documentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in engineering.
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (desirable).
• Experience in offshore wind (desirable).
• Practical experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or asset integrity.
• Understanding of maintenance planning, risk assessment and safe systems of work.
• Experience in writing/reviewing O&M documentation.
• Willingness to complete GWO offshore certification and medical.
• Flexibility to travel onshore/offshore to all Greater Wash locations.
• Adaptable and positive approach to new challenges.
• Experience using a CMMS e.g. SAP.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution and closeout of maintenance and modification campaigns.
• Manage contractor deliveries, ensuring work meets technical, safety and quality requirements.
• Deliver asset technical support and integrity assurance activities within core disciplines.
• Create, review and maintain O&M documentation including scopes of work and risk assessments.
• Support ORAs, RCAs and O&M governance.
• Work with asset teams to identify and deliver improvement projects.
• Promote a strong safety culture.
• Deliver in compliance with Equinor governance, laws and regulations.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management during planning and execution.
• Develop and manage budgets, including cost estimation and resource planning.
• Share lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in O&M processes.
• Encourage innovation and leverage technology to improve efficiency.
