Job summary

Masdar is seeking aSenior engineer to support offshore wind O&M assets, embedded in the EA3Wind Farm team in the UK. The role involves acting as Masdar’s representative, ensuring safe, reliable operations and delivering technical projects alongside JV partners.

The role requires UK base with hybrid working (3 days in the office) and occasional offshore visits, plus travel to London and other locations as needed. Preference for candidates near Lowestoft or able to travel regularly.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in physics, mathematics or an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in renewables / power generation industry.
• Experience in definition and communication of risk and risk-based strategies.
• Proven project management experience (c £100k).

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical improvement projects from planning through execution to close‑out, ensuring delivery to time, budget, quality and all relevant HSE, regulatory and legal requirements.
• Coordinate technical interactions across Operations Engineering, Site Teams, Global Services, OEMs, service providers, consultants, certifiers and regulators, fostering productive and compliant technical collaboration.
• Lead technical studies and oversee Balance of Plant (BoP) retrofit, repair and improvement campaigns.
• Provide technical oversight of EA3 BoP scope setup, including guiding a junior engineer in delivering strategy and tender evaluations.
• Develop and implement asset management processes and share lessons learned across offshore O&M activities.
