Job summary

Bright Horizons Milford Nursery is seeking a Third in Charge to lead and inspire a team, ensuring high-quality care and education for every child. You will champion safeguarding, partner with parents, and support positive outcomes across the setting.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting in a leadership role.
• Confident decision maker with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Promote child welfare and health and safety, safeguarding.
• Maintain partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required.
• Engage with Local Authority to understand local offering and support practice across nursery.
